Vishukani at Sabarimala
Thousands of Pilgrims made vishukani dharshanam in Sabarimala on 14th of April 2006 in the presence of the chief priest Sri. Kandararu Mohanaru and melshanti M.Sukumaran Namboothiri. Devaswom board president Adv. G Raman Nair Board members Sri. Punalur Madhu, Sri M.B Sreekumar and Devaswom Commissioner Sri C.G Sachidhanandan were also present for the Kanni darsan
Rigvedasuktarchana for Lord Ayyappa.
The rare Rigvedasuktarchana was conducted at sabarimala after 12 years 27 persons including staff and students of Brahmaswa madom Trissur offered flowers at the Brahmkalasam by chanting the rigvedasutha mantras. Later the kalasam was offered as abhiseka in the idol of lord Ayyappa.
Festival at Sabarimala.
The 10 day Festival at sabarimala were started after the hoisting of the flag by the chief priest Sri.Kandararu Mohanaru and ended by Arattu. Earlier the festival was conducted in the month of Dhanu from this year onwards this is shifted to the month of meenam.
Festival at Sharkara Temple.
This year the festival of Sharkara temple was conducted in the presence of thousands of devotees
Ponkala at Gourishapattanam Mahadeva Temple.
This year ponkala festival was conducted by offering special poojas like annadanam and thalapoli. |
